Ok my AC is blowing hot air, also when the AC button is on, the engine idle goes up and down. DO i have the good sense in assuming that I am out of freon and that Im out of it cause of a leak?

ya id would say you need a recharge. and if you notice your idle will change when ever you turn anything on like your lights are your r defroster

yeah i know the idle goes up and down, but it never sounds like yer reving the engine into read then it goes dead


thats what alerted me to the AC this nice spring of 2002, was the amount of noise coming from the engine that never was there before

If you idle is messing up -- ill almost put money on the fact that it is your A/C compressor... you can thank me later, bring it to a shop and have em check it out. :finger:
