95 power window problems. Can someone PLEASE help?JeepChick08 04-15-2005, 11:06 PM I bought a 95 Grand Cherokee for 800 bux this past December. It's in great condition and I was so excited until I tried to put the windows down now that the weather is nice. None of them go down. I thought it might be a fuse but I don't have an owner's manual so I have no clue which fuse is which and what amperage they're supposed to be. If someone could possibly help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated! ~Jen Cam7 04-16-2005, 03:46 AM There is a 50 amp fuse #11 in the power distribution center and a 30 amp circuit breaker in the Juction block. Check those first could also be in the Drivers and Passenger Modules or connections. JeepChick08 04-16-2005, 09:33 AM I know nothing about cars. haha I went and got a 50 amp fuse but there isnt a place for it in the fuse block. It's too big. Especially in #11. I'm just so frustrated...I don't know what to do. Would anyone be kind enough to scan the page(s) that explain the fuse block (which fuse is which and their amperages) and email it to me? Not the fuse block (passenger side of dashboard) xj31 04-16-2005, 02:13 PM Also look at the wiring between the drivers door and the a-pillar.If you pull the rubber boot back you might see some broken wires JeepChick08 04-16-2005, 02:25 PM jEEP CHICK DID U CHECK IN THE pOER dISTRIBUTION cENTER (IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT BEHIND THE BATTERY)? Not the fuse block (passenger side of dashboard) Yeah my dad checked that but everything in there was fine he said. The fuse block is missing 4 fuses. I don't know what they're for or the amperage of the fuses that I'm supposed to put in them. I'm hoping that one of them is for the windows...the Jeep is too old for the dealerships to still carry the owners manual (or so I was told by two Jeep dealerships near me) and I checked 3 junkyards. Nobody has one. Cam7 04-18-2005, 05:45 AM Make Sure you check the Circuit Breaker it can cause trouble if bad. SteveB05 04-19-2005, 06:53 AM JeepChick08 04-26-2005, 10:53 AM Thanks everyone for all your help! It was the wiring into the door. A bunch of the wires were cut. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
