i have a chance to but a 95 240sx,
its a base model, and its auto, its also a stolen recovery veichel.. it has 108k on it tho.. and the guy wants 1800 for it.
the olny work it needs is a new hood, front bumper and pasanger head light, and that all, the inside is clean and the body is in great condition, no dents or dings, the chassie is straight. the car is black with gray cloth inter. it has a sun roof. is it worth it?

what i want to do is since i have to but most of the fornt end pannels again i want to conver it to a 98 front end, w/ kouki lip. and c/f hood. then as for the rest of the car, convet it to 5 lug and put on 5 zigen typhons, and do my suspension ( tien s- type springs, kyb agx, and sus. tech. sway bars and fstb/rstb) and call it a day for now, then save up for turbo..

so is it worth it, or should i just hold off for a se s14 btw my buget is 6k..

btw im hearing that the guy has a s13 sr20det motor in a crashed s14 for sale.. if the price and right.. i might be looking into that as well.. this is turning to be a nice project..

nice find man. Id buy it, the only thing is the auto part. But you sound like you have the basic's on some mechanics so you could always swap that out later. Yea i found a 98 240sx 5 speed se fully loaded...get this 48 thousand miles!!!!! Car is flawless and completely stock. All for the easy price of 10 grand. If i had the money i would buy it and then hump it.

lol i was in the same place i saw a 98 blue se, auto tho 52k mint condition, for 7500, i only had 7k at most i was kicking my self in the ass.. for 500 more i would of had a nice 98 and it had the kouki lip..

o0o well tomorrow ill be seeing the 95 s14 and take it from there..

but if i had gotton the 98 i wouldnt have any money to mod the damm thing, i rather get my 95, and make it look like a 98 that will only cost me 4k w/ car, and ill still have 2k to play with.. so in all its gona be nicer then the 98 would be, also the guy is giving me a shit load of free parts from a 95 240sx se 5sp, yes that the tranny, and full set up for the 5sp swap.. hehe and i can get the 5lug hub form that as well, and the various interior peices as well. and yes cant forget the lsd.. hehe..
