93 Rodeo pegs voltmeter, check trans light and tranny slips...

I have no clue anymore i am lost.. I have put a new battery in it and alternator. It will start and run and charge but as your driving it the voltage goes crazy sometimes peggin 16V and the check trans light will start blinking and when it does the tranny slips real bad worse then winter mode. Its a 93 with the 3.2L auto pw, pdl, yada yada yada... NEED HELP ASAP PLEASE!!!

Did it do this before you replaced the alternator and battery?

I would have to say that the alternator is bad. It's the only thing that can generate voltage like that.

Yes the only difference is it would stop charging and kill the battery that is why i had changed the two...

Your new alternator is bad. It happens.

Get one from the dealer. The parts store one's are crap and won't last long.

take the alt back..

isuzu don't like aftermarket Alt. Some have have had success the bosch brands.
