In my 1995 f-150 XLT, i put on the lights and theres some sort of light under the back end, next to the spare tire, and i was wondering whats that for, can i turn it off, and why is there only one? because i think it looks goofy if you ask me. please help, thanks.

Do both the lights by the tag work? Sounds like one of them has come out and is hanging down.

no no, both tag lights are there, thats not it.. Its an accual light thats moutned up there by the spare tire, almost light an access light? idk if i can get a pit of it tommarow ill post it.

sounds like a home made deal to me. Follow the power source and see. Just remove the whole deal,

Thats what i thought at first, but like, its a whole light witha ford casing around it, theres no way it wasnt factory, but there is 2 screws and a quick dis-connect.. :-) sounds like a good plan to just remove it..

Alright, its called the rear side marker light... i looked it up under the 1980-1996 Haynes Part guide.. so now i know what it is. Thanks anyways though for all ya'll help.

Well, i was looking around and its not the rear side light, so idk but its wired in with the tag lights... ill try to get a pic up on my website..
