Anyone have a rough idea of engine weight sans transmission? I need to pull one at the junkyard, they'll give me a hoist to get it out of the car, but how about moving it from the cart into the transport vehicle? Can one guy do it? Two?

Also installing it. Is it necessary to rent a hoist or it is one of those engines that can be manhandled with some chain and a 2X4?

Finally I understand that cylinder head is not strong enough to take the weight of the engine. Where is the best place to attach lifting hooks?
