nissan altima 97 porblems

i am having trouble with m altima 97 i took it to auto zone and they said iw was code 505 which is with the fuel line and code 1605 which is my auxilury pump, but then another day they said it was code 500 my speed sensor...what my car does is the rpm will began to move slowly down to the 0 and then the car will shake and turn off...it does the on different occassions sometimes 1 or more times a day, and sometimes not at all lately it has been happening a lot... i can start my car back-up within minutes of this happening but i am not sure what is going on and i dont want to take it somewhere to fix it to find out that wasnt the problem at all..can anyone help..thanks!!!!!

it could be alot of things.... check the fuel pump... make sure the car is getting gas,... check your crank sensor... hit me up if the problem still persists...

The Camshaft Position Sensor and Crankshaft Position Sensor are often confused. Altima Crankshaft position Sensors are on the transmission bellhousing and its only purpose is to provide a signal used by the ECM to diagnose engine missfire and store a code. Crankshaft Position Sensors won't stop the engine. The Camshaft Position Sensor is inside of the distributor. The most common cause found on Altima engines that have stall and restart, restart after cooling, or crank but won't start conditions is the distributor and effected by temperature. Gradual loss of power 10 seconds before stalling and an irregular tachometer are also common conditions caused by the distributor.
