Will Everstart Maxx Battery FitJaice 04-14-2005, 04:26 AM I keep draining my Everstart Regular Batterys, and I'm about to install a new Bass amp, along with my Highs amp, I'm wondering, since I still have the warranty on my Everstart Battery, will the Everstart Maxx, the yellow ones fit my 2002 Monte Carlo LS, I really need to get a more powerful battery, and I don't want to pay $130 for a Optima, cause I can exchange my Everstart at walmart and pay about a $15 difference to get the Maxx. Do you guys think it will fit? xtrememeasures10 04-14-2005, 08:15 AM As long as its a side post terminal and it clears everything around it you should be fine. If your putting in a sound system you might think about getting a capacitor. You need 1 pico farad of capacitance for every 700 watts. Thats just my suggestion if your doing a stereo. it sure will make your battery last longer. Jaice 04-14-2005, 01:47 PM Yeah, I was planning on getting 2 1.0 farad caps, I just wanted to make sure that big battery would fix in that small space. montecarlossfan 04-17-2005, 12:36 AM hmm you shouldnt be draining batteries that easy, i have a system thats is pushin 2500 watts rms...no problems at all...i have a stock ac delco battery, running a 10 farad cap box...still on the original bat and alternator and the car is 5 years old 02dubss 05-02-2005, 01:48 PM If you like to listen to your gear with the car off, you should consider a second battery and a battery isolater just for amps. And yes, the Everstart Maxx does fit in the factory batteey spot. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
