I just swapped the engine w/ weber from my 1983 to a 1985 PU. Now I'm not getting any spark. I do have power to the coil. ????

Did you check to make sure you have spark to the plugs??

of course. we are having coil problems cause I didn't pull the old coil from the 83 before it got junked. so I think we are having a resitance problem

had sim problems w/ my 88 swap.pulled efi and dropped in 84 carb motor.had power to coil but no spark ,after racking my brain awhile i cleaned up all electrical connections, it worked!!!!i am pretty sure it was the ground on coil.the ciol body must be grounded to fenderwell.keep us posted.greg
