Hi guys, i'm new here.
Please go to this LINK (http://public.fotki.com/fanfancito/projects_in_progress/zzz-28_izzys_ride/)
Here's the mods I did on an old Revell ZZZ28 kit. It has Wheels from a 1/18th scale Howler and many custom details. Comments are welcome!
The car is named after my baby girl's nickname.
this pictures are from last year and I took it to the 2004 Birmingham Classic.

Thanks for looking. It was really fun, I've had this kit since the late 70's and had some crazy ideas for it. Last year I finally was able to finish it and I really like the results!
Thanks.

Hey,

Welcome to AF! Hope you don't mind me posting one of your photos. What rims are these? Looks really neat. Is it a certain scale? I have a VW van like this style, they are pretty cool. Keep up the great work!

Rims?

Those came from a 1/18th scale die cast "Howler". It's like a Prowler but with a pickup bed. The rear tires are direct from the Howler, and the fronts(tires only) are from an old 1/20th scale Corvette, I just bored the insides 'till the wheels fit.
I'm glad you liked it, thanks.

Very neat model! I love it. These old characature cars need to come back in a big way, in kit form. They are gobs of fun to look at and probably to build, from what I saw!
