This is driving me insane!!

I have a 2000 Durango 4X4 5.9L that vibrates above 40MPH. You can feel the vibration everywhere, mirrors, seat, pedals, dash, steering wheel, etc. The humming is very loud and it's frequency changes when changing from accelerating to decelerating. Fluids are all okay. I've taken off the front drive shaft to remove this from the equation. Tires all appear to be okay and the vibration does not seem to come from a certain side of the vehicle.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Do you get this vibration when engine RPM is spun along from idle to redline in Park/Neutral? Or do you get this problem only while vehicle is in motion while in gear?

Did you verify that your lug-nuts are all properly inserted and torqued to spec?

I finally found the problem! It was in fact the rear UV joint. I replaced it and $14 later it's finally quiet again! Thanks for the feedback.
