I've got a 91 Silvia I can buy for roughly 8,000. From Japan its got the SR20 and all the good stuff. The body is "cherry" dude. I probably won't buy it as its kinda old but would any of you? If I did I'd just try to resell it for a higher price but 8,000 is kinda steep already.

You are asking a bunch of people who love the S chassis more then sex (or almost). Of course they would take it, for that price, I have no idea, but I for one would buy it if I had 8 grand! So the answer is yes.

What good is it to you in Guam? You can't get it legal there. I have a buddy here who is returning to Guam (his home) and had to let go of his beloved 180SX because it can't go home with him. S13 Silvia in Japan for $8000.....to much.

Haha, thanks guys.

180SX not legal? Really? As far as that, he'll get here and see tons of illegal cars on the road. So he should've just brought it.

Anyway like I said probably won't buy it.

Do they have 240s in Guam?

Well importing is no problem. I'd just wonder how to get it registered, although I'm sure if I checked there'd be someone I could get hooked up with. I've never had an emissions test on any car nor have I ever heard of one. Though I'm not really into the whole "legal scene." As far as 240's go, there are tons here. As well as a few 180's that I've seen around. No one wants to sell them though thanks to the whole import scene taking off. One 240 in particular I've tried buying three times now. Its just been sitting in the same spot and the rust is getting mighty interested in it. And rust never needed a pink slip as far as I know.

if it was already imported to the states and leagalized, then it would be worth 8k, but over seas, their worth about a quarter of that to the domestic market. silvias and 180's sell for like 1800 us dollars in australia and japan, its sick, i feel cheated.

For $8000 you can do soo much to your 240, Including the 180sx conversion.

But he doesn't have a 240.

Ok, he could get a 240sx, with say blown engine for $500. Do a SR swap for around $4000 with work, on the way he could also thrown in some upgrades for around a 2G, and spend the rest on appearance, to make it look completely JDM. Now SR with 2g put in it will produce over 300whp (IC, custom piping, larger turbo, MAF, Injectors), so you figure out if it is worth it.

He's in Guam, all that shit prolly costs 5x more there.

Ohh, my bad. Well then I think it is possible to legalize a 180sx, which can be found for FAR less then $8000.
