Has anyone experience in changing the inner seal for the axle on the 1994 gc, 4.0 4x4,limited differential . the book shows that the axle is pulled by removing the brake assy, etc , and pulling it straight out , and the seal is supposed to be inside , next to the gear housing , but nothing is shown how to remove the seal or reinstalling it , the axle is about 12-14 inches in legnth, thanks for any suggestions

you have to take the whole differential apart because the seals are inside by the side bearings.
