Mazda ElanScale-Master 04-11-2005, 12:08 PM Isn't that what the Miata is supposed to be? Another quick one I did so I'd have something to use at the TamiyaCon to paint some dirt on the chassis Saturday during the demo... Testors British Racing Green Metallic, Tamiya Yellow, Scale-Master Insignia Blue border stripes to match the Testors Blue interior and some custom decals for the Lotus emblems and license plate... - Mark http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v92/Scale-Master/Scale-Master%20Models/53504061.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v92/Scale-Master/Scale-Master%20Models/5a58c687.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v92/Scale-Master/Scale-Master%20Models/9dde7e4c.jpg Whumbachumba 04-11-2005, 12:13 PM I'm not a big fan of the green and yellow combination since one is metallic and the other is not. But, it looks fairly good. Since, there is nothing in the background besides the shadow and cement, it almost looks like a real car except for the high angles of the pictures. Awesome work though. Maybe you could take some interior pics and engine pics if it's not a curbside model. z_dutchie 04-11-2005, 03:28 PM not really my taste but you did a nice job on the miata mrceej 04-11-2005, 03:38 PM I think it looks great! It reminds me of a Miata from the first Gran Turismo. Good color combo to me. Jay! 04-11-2005, 03:55 PM Looks great; super-cool Lotus tribute. But what's going on with the taillights? They don't look translucent at all... Scale-Master 04-11-2005, 04:37 PM But what's going on with the taillights? They don't look translucent at all. I don't know, they're painted with clear red and clear yellow, maybe it's the lighting, come and see it yourself next weekend... Oh, it is a curbside, just something to use as a demonstration... - Mark Jay! 04-11-2005, 05:20 PM I'll have to take you up on that! ;) Ferrari TR 04-11-2005, 11:14 PM Most folks would mistake an Elan for a 'Yatta' on the street. So, why not! As always , an interesting twist on a OOB build. :) DJPaul 04-12-2005, 11:57 AM Nice build. It would look bit better if yellow would be matalic as well. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
