Those rims fit the Levin perfectly! Honoturtle 04-11-2005, 06:25 AM Very cool outcome! :bigthumb: Is the motor pure scratchbuilt? geedup 04-11-2005, 08:32 AM the motor is made up of random peices i had in my parts box. the head is from two cam covers from some v8. the block is some mercedes diecast engine. and random pulleys. not exact, but looks alright. mrceej 04-11-2005, 10:19 AM Looks very cool. I've actually rekindled some inspiration for my Corolla project with engine. Hopefully I'll be posting some pics within the week. Good job on your engine bay though. It's pretty accurate. geedup 04-11-2005, 11:25 PM yeah it would be good to see another corolla engine. today i looked at this car again, and now i wonder whether the bumpers should be black. or some decals. what does anyone think? im kind of undecided. ADVANFAN 04-11-2005, 11:28 PM engine looks hot! good job! mrceej 04-12-2005, 10:14 AM SchuberT 04-12-2005, 10:07 PM Stretch walls!!!! Looks pretty sweet man. BTW, which kit is this? geedup 04-13-2005, 01:46 AM the kit is the fujimi ae86 levin 2 door. ID-61 the box says. its late model version of the 2 door levin. *also* i decided to decal it. the randomish decals now suit the relatively poor paint job and make it look more like a track car. also i finished the window trims including inbetween the rear window and doors. vtak 04-13-2005, 06:25 AM Nice work man!!! Loving the engine!! ImolaEK 04-14-2005, 08:06 PM those wheels are toooo hott! weaponCIVIC 04-14-2005, 10:22 PM even though the paint isnt great it still looks nice...you did a good job on modifying it tastefully. injecting 04-14-2005, 11:20 PM Sick job man, I agree the paint isnt so great but it still looks very awsome. I'm loving the rims. Feint Motion 04-16-2005, 01:14 AM This is an excellent build even though the paint didnt come out great. Props. :smokin: geedup 04-16-2005, 04:30 AM thanks for the comments guys. on my shelf the paint isnt too nitcable so im still happy. i also straightened the window trims so theyre looking good now. i have a question though. does anyone know how to make the grill that semi seethrough colour? i thought the gluespots were alright but they arent. but i might just paint the grill black now. also, ill get some pics of it placed with the rest of my cars either tonight or tomorrow. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
