I started this project some time ago, and it was sidelined for a bit, but I've pulled it out of the box and resumed some work on it.



I completed wiring of the motor today, and some other small details





This part still needs a couple more hose clamps, two have been installed



The twin turbo piping has been heat stained.

this looks very nice so far. i also sidelined this project a year or two ago. please build this to motivate me to build mine.

Built that one in university for a friend. Still remember it fondly. Haven't seen the friend in years though... I wonder if the model still exists??

The color is by Cobra Colors. It's a factory Porsche color called Basalt Black metallic..
The wire looms are by Detail Master.

They are Detail master PE hose clamps. Part #DM240.
I still have to add a tiny piece of wire to replicate the worm gear on the clamp. I'll post a pic when that piece is completed.

Here's a small update, I now have the motor in place, and the suspension is completed.

The turbos, piping and exhaust are installed.

I added some BMF to the wheels and really HATE them now that the body is on it.
So it will come off, and I'll respray the wheels.
