What kind of car do you want it for? Apex'i makes a nice N1 exhaust system. It's mandrel bent, not to droonie at low RPM, and if you want there is a baffle you can close that cuts down on drone too:)

It'd really help to know what kinda car you want to put it on though

I would go with one from Borla, Magnaflow, or Apex'i. All three make great exaust systems. Don't bother with a catback system though if you want a performance increase. Only get the catback if you are looking to change the sound and looks. If you want performance, sound, and looks you will have to change the ENTIRE exaust system; which can cost about $800 - $1500 depending.

In the fast and the furious the exhaust sound was probably dubbed in and computer enhanced. Like in Gone in 60 seconds, the exhaust sound for elanor was dubbed in from a GT40.

Good point. They do that in pretty much all car movies.

Now that i think about it elanor did sound a bit like a GT40, I got to watch it again, it sounded tight as hell.

Sorry bro i am pretty sure they dubbed over the original sound on the cars in the fast and the furious.

If you like the nice sound get the Apex NI series cat, they sound nice but not loud enough for me, I'm into quakein and settin off car alarms. Im orderin a Tanabe super racing medalion cat-back in a month or so.

ya, elanor had a sweet sound. A mustang monthly magazine article said it was a dubbed in GT40. But, hey it sounded good.

no infact it was dumbed that car had 160hp and never evwer had a dump valve it was a true RICE car --- fake dump valves are not cool and neither is fast and the furious i hate that film ..........YUK

I'd personaly go with HKS as i'm sporting an HKS Hiper Exhaust.Cost me a pretty penny, but upped my performance by a good 10hp and a sound that makes heads turn in awe.

N1 All the way --- it's big, it's loud (not that loud) and it's J-SPEC!

Make sure to get the whole cat-back angled style...
