Hey i hava a quick question for anyone to answer, i have a 94 GC 4.0 and recently had the check engine light come on. when i got home i flashed the codes and it kicked back 41 to me, when i looked it up in my repair manual it said that it had something to do with my voltage regulator, i was wondering where the voltage regulator is located at and how hard is it to replace. Thank you and look forward to your replies.

The Voltage Regulator is inside the PCM Power Control Module and cant be serviced. A code 41 shows a open or shorted condition in the generator control circuit. If you have a Voltmeter connect across the battery to see how muck voltage you have when the vechile is running. Should be around 14 -15 volts.
