someone please help. the trunk motor on my 99 528 bmw is making a funny grinding noice and is not openning. i tried everything to open the trunk. To make things worse, i have my left over olive garden dinner in the trunk for two days now....Is there a manual override anywhere?? How else can i get in the trunk???please help

The drive motors fail often and will need to be replaced if the linkage clip isn't simply broken.
Your key will manually release the trunk latch.

Dont know of this will help but what about folding down the back seats to get into the trunk.
