just got the car and it ran great . i was told it needed a new valve cover gasket. so after a small engine fire started i proptly shut the motor off to put the fire out. the car has not started since .the problem is theres no spark , why????? there is no visible damage from the fire except for the three wires going to the coil pack from the wiring harness which i replaced. i replaced the coil pack , and the valve cover gasket. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

you should get a new ignition control box and replace the starter if it dosent crank over. but replace all the spark plugs the distriberitor and all the electric parts except the new parts you got see if that helps. if you cant fix it take it to the garage to get it fixed
