my truck wobbles when i brake

1994 ford ranger - entire cab wobbles when i brake on expressway. Does anyone know why this is or what this may be?

check the front brake rotors, they'er probally warped

Might also have one or both front calipers locking up. Whatever you do, don't go to Midas. They'll go out of their way to convince you that 100% of your front end is shot, and charge about triple of cost for the parts.

Fried ball joints will also cause this. Had the same problem on my old Lincoln and after replacing both front rotors (felt exactly like a warped rotor) figured out the problem.

I agree about Midas. Check it yourself (after you are sure it's not the rotors) by raising each side then tugging on the tire/wheel - feel and listen for a little slop.

just wanted to say thank you to you all, had my truck checked, out, i had 1 warped rotor, had it sorted out and now is good as new.
