i was looking threw a bunch of magazines lately and ive noticed i never see any mkIII supras in drift comps i no my car handles very well and does drift so maybe you guys no somthing i dont let me no

You only tend to see newer model cars in big drift events and magazines. Its a sponsor thing. Go ahead and take it to the track. Its no fun if you don't play with your toys.:smokin:

obuasly they dont know sqaut about supra

supras power are UNTAP stock... i know this by experience...one power killer in a supra is the elbow(super restrictive and the dp... getting rid of cat also helps...

if you got experience with em you should know that just changing the dp and elbow to BOTH 3" and gutting out the cat will give you alot of power WITHOUT even tuning it.... and the FACTS that supras runs super rich doesnt help it... i know acouple of people that went to dyno their supra for the first time and shoots fireball out their exhaust b/c it was untuned...

thats why if you really wanna TAP the power of supra you have to spend atleast 1g on it(mk3) i dont have experience with mk4...

look put a supra against an rx7 2nd gen on straight away and see who wins... lol... i beaten rx7 turbo II with ease on a straight away,,, how ever they become competion on turns,,

more of the smaller cars are in the drift events now since that the one guy with the 180hp or something like that corolla won the comp against 400+hp cars so more of the smaller cars are in the comps now. Actually read stuff in magazines and stuff to learn this crap

well its not so much all of that but it is very hard to get both tires to brake loose cause of the rear end but if u open the pumkin u can weld it together and u can do a lot more burning out cause the mk3 has posi trac

Posi-Trac = GM marketing name for an LSD, LSD = stock on all turbo A70's and sport package n/a's. A "lincoln locker" is a no-no for handling. :nono:

i do read the stuff and wat i read is that most 240's dominate the drift seen but owell im just gonna continue to jet around and drag and drift around a couple turns just for kicks it isnt my career

Well...I guess another reason might be that Supras are rarer (perhaps less popular I don't know) than some of the cars u guys mentioned for drifts (such as the 240sx). So people generally know less about them and they don't want to see it.

i say supras are too cool hahaha....yeah their a bit on the heavy side and do have a huge asss that likes to hang out hardcore...but illegal drifting is fun so do it!!!silvias 180s and 240s are also very light and drift very easily...i once owned a silvia..i know its sad!

it has more to do with the weight distriution of the cars, as well as the length. smaller, ligher cars are better driffters. im sure with the right $ a supra would be a great drift car

im talking about mkIII supras there bodystyle lenght and such are simular to the 240sx thats all i wondered
