Deuces have magnificent reliability, and most make it well into 250k+ miles
What do you consider fast? NA stock max speed is just under 130mph
I dunno what the stock turbo max is... my bad 4 that. :-(

"Easy upgrades" to start would include:
boost controller
exhaust mani/ downpipe
intake/ exhaust
WIDER/ lighter WHEELES! at least 215 front and 245 back ;-)

It's pretty badly underpowered from the factory. 0-60 in about 7.5 seconds.

Forced induction. For just over $3k you can get a turbo kit that will make 200-210 rwhp.

The GTS engine is very hard to find, because it's becoming a popular swap. I would think that the swap would be less than $3k.
