Well done firepower 426 that was bloody fantastic.
The MK V GTI was released in Australia last week and I spotted it at the local motorshow.
I ordered mine yesterday. Honestly after giving it some during a test drive (which wasn't necessarily required because it is so damn fast) I just had to have it.
To put this into perspective I currently drive a 2004 5.7 litre Holden Monaro (Pontiac GTO in the US) which puts out over 280kW.
Although it might slightly faster than the golf, it hasn't got a patch on the package offered by the MK V GTI.

Your a great example might I add, your excited about the GTI... even when you already own a GTO. Which puts down nearly 1.5 times the power (at the crank, your GTO probably puts down around 330 at the wheels I'm guessing).
