Buschur Racing and Medina Mitsubishi have struck a deal to sell EVOs with Buschure performance packages at Medina Mitsubishi dealerships. The two models that will be sold will be called the EVO BR330 and EVO BR350 (more info can be found here- http://forums.evolutionm.net/showth...5&page=2&pp=15). The hopes is that these options would eventually spread to other dealerships across the country (sort of like FQ models in Europe) and get Mitsubishi's full approval (As of now the cars will be fully warrantied at the specific dealerships were they are sold). So hopefully one day people can go to a Mitsubishi dealership and buy an EVO BR330 for $32,459 or an EVO BR350 for $33,599 (in case your wondering the EVO MR MSRP is $34,699). The BR330 and BR350 would be two of the best performance options on the market-

2005 EVO BR330
330HP
340HP
0-60- 4.2 Seconds
1/4 Mile- 12.9 Seconds@107MPH
$32,459 MSRP

350HP
355TQ
0-60- 3.9 Seconds
1/4 Mile- 12.7 Seconds@110MPH
$33,599 MSRP

How do these cars compare to other models that cost similiar such as the SVT Cobra, GTO, and STi (please the base GSR is better than the STi in my opinion)?

$30,699

i will take a evo br350 if i have money, because it's got both shape and performance.

well if ford holds true to their promise (which lately they have been) then the new gt 500 should fit in this comparo and in that case i would say the evo would be a bit out gunned. besides that the evo has always been an extremely impressive performer regardless of price, the price just makes it that much more impressive. but when comparing to cars like the 350 z etc... even though its slower its IMO a better car and if i were lookin for a daily driver the evo would be dead last.

I don't really see the point of this. The Evo is already the fastest car that you can get for this kind of money (although in C&D's recent rematch between the '05 STi and '05 MR, the STi was actually a bit faster when the cars had the same tires). What they need to work on is fixing the nagging build quality issues that have plagued the Evo since its debut in 1992, and improve their customer service.

If you like handling performance and fun to drive get the EVO. My MR is at 7000 miles in 3.5 months.
If you like to drag get any muscle car with equal or closer times. Muscle will beat stock EVOs after 1/4 miles. Look at the trap speed.
Now it comes down to style and taste.
If you drive one of these cars, would you still be drooling over another car wishing you just had purchased that? Decide.....
I would get an FQ400 if they have one but the 2005 EVO BR350 sounds good.
