me friend has a 98 gsr and the hood won't close all the way. the first latch latches but not the last one. what could it be.

its probly the cable not sliding back, it happens on mine every time. I used to blow headlights out trying to get it closed.

look for where the cable attaches to the latch mechanism, there will probly be a little lever and a spring, just reach a finger or screwdriver in and push the lever back that has the spring and the cable attached to it and then the hood will close perfectly.

it won't take my finger off will it, lol
