I have a 1991 camry with non functional A/C. It has the proper level of freon in it, and all fuses are good. After doing some reading, it seems the A/C amplifier and compressor revolution sensor are problematic. I am going to get a replacement amplifier from the junk yard, but first i need to know where it is located on the car. If anyone knows, i would appreciate the help. Thanks!!!

According to manual the AC amplifier is mounted on the bottom of the housing for the heat/cooling coils. The housing is behind the glovebox. 4 cyl has 1. 6 cyl has 2, the one closest to you is condenser fan control amplifier, one farthest away from you is AC amplifier.
