I just bought a used 2000 honda civic ex coupe with about 50,000 miles on it. I spent a good portion of the money that i was planning to put into it but i still a some to pour into it. I need some suggestions on some engine mods that can be done to it for relativly cheap. I have a good idea about what im going to put in but any opinions would help me greatly.

Also not on the same topic but if anyone has any information on taking the original cloth seats and changing it to a leather seat please add that.

Thanks
Derrick

how much money do you want to spend? what kind of power do you want?
and on the seats your best bet would be to get them done professionally and a upholstry shop should be to expensive. i have leather seats and don't like them very much cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

"how much money do you want to spend? what kind of power do you want?"

I really dont have any idea about how much power I can get but the my spending limit for now is about 2.5k to 3k. If you could list the things that just would do in order from cheapest to most expensive and if you can find it about how much of an increase it would give me.

Thanks to anyone who can give me information in advance.

Id say get an Si lip, side skirts and 17 inch rims dropped. Bolt ons wont give you substantial power, its a waste of money in my opinion, buying 250 dollar header, 250 CAI, 300 exhaust and getting like 10 WHP, its pretty lame. Id say better go with a nitrous kit 50 shot for 400 dollars, the rest spend it on the lip, rims, leather seats...or just wait for a grand more and turbo the car, but it will be turboed and youll need complimentary shit such as a clutch, good tires, suspension...and the bill adds up.
