96 deville trouble code

I need some help from you cadilac guys. my friend has a 96 deville that put out a trouble code. had autozone retreive the code off of the computer, but they don't know what it means, or what exactly is wrong! the trouble code says Auxillary Emissions Control code. any ideas?

Which code is it? There should be a specific code. Are you sure the Autozone person knows what he's talking about. Make sure you see the code yourself.

My Uncle ownes a car repair shop and his best advice is to do a full tune-up(if you can afford it) when you buy a car. B/C many times a dealer will make the car look up to date when it is not.
