I drove my car to work the other day and everything was fine. When it was time for me to leave, i started it up and it was idling rough. I noticed that one of the ports on the BVSV(Bimetal Vacuum Swith Valve) was broken and the tiny hose that runs to it was hanging. This valve coincides with the EGR system. Could this be the problem for the motor idling rough?

Yeah. A vacuum leak can cause it to run a little rough. Another name for that valve is the "Oh shit, I broke it" valve. But go ahead and replace it. If your EGR valve isn't working the way it's supposed to your engine can easily ping and detonate and that's not a good thing.

Well i replaced the valves and they didn't do the trick. I have another question. whatever is causing the engine to vibrate, it goes alway through the exhaust pipe in fact, and can hear the sound out the end of the exhaust pipe. Could this be my Converter in the exhaust system causing this?

When's the last time you changed your plug wires?

Yeah i put some new wires on about 6 months ago and i know they aren't defective.

That will definitely cause rough idle problems. You could replace it, or ditch the EGR system entirely like I did.. but I don't recommend it. Try reseting your EFI fuse and see if that helps.
