pics of the repairsrlith 03-31-2005, 09:16 AM Well, some of you know that a farktard hit and ran me in my 95 blazer. (he was caught) Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of the progress,,,,This is why I stick to mechanical things, I don't have the talent to do body work like this. Here's the original damage...As you can tell, (well almost) the fender was crushed behind the brush guard, the brushguard is toast, and the bumper and valance got messed up as well as some of the supports for the 98+ grille snapped in back. http://www.pghconsulting.net/body/farktard.jpg Front left fender repair where the major damage was http://www.pghconsulting.net/body/leftf.jpg My right fender had been crimped at the antennae base when I bought the truck as well as a nasty little dent along the hood line, I took the opprotunity to have the anteanne shaved as well as fix the hood defect... http://www.pghconsulting.net/body/rightf.jpg Of course I got a new OEM 98+ grille to replace my crappy aftermarket one... http://www.pghconsulting.net/body/grille.jpg And I took the opprotunity to upgrade to the 98+ bumper and valance. (the valance is already black) http://www.pghconsulting.net/body/98bump.jpg 2 distance shots http://www.pghconsulting.net/body/front.jpg My painter hard at work... http://www.pghconsulting.net/body/painter.jpg Sen Sen 03-31-2005, 03:52 PM How much is the repair gonna cost? rlith 03-31-2005, 04:08 PM How much is the repair gonna cost?
