Lanos problem

I recently had a problem with lack of power in my 1999 1.4 lanos.I was advised that the problem was damaged valves.Since then I have had a new head and an injector assembly fitted.I have also fitted a new fuel pump assy plugs and timing belt.Still the problem persists. It appears as if not enough fuel is being delivered or the timing is off.Engine fires up fine but max achievable revs is 2000.This translates into 20-25 mph uphill.Engine does not sound right and there is little or no response from the accelerator.I'v spent quiet a bit of money listening to so called experts.
Perhaps someone knowledgeable about the vageries of the lanos might help. Thanks

have the timing checked. my lanos had similar responses but at higher rpm's. if not timing, sounds like engine- possible problems with the block/ pistons , since you have a new clyinder head ? i had a sunbird that lost power and the engine was euchered ! good luck

it is possible that the catalisator is broken into pieces and it stucks the exaust pipe unless I think it is obd II version

whatever it could be I think check light should be on

check egr valve although I think its inaappropiate working wont cause such less power,

maybe its something with coil

maybe its bad tps (throttle position sensor) but in these cases fumes should be blue, if they are not the only thing that comes into my mind is that there is something wrong with acceleration pedal but it is rather highly impossible

glad to hear any solutions that resolved the problem
