95 Lumina- 3.1

hello, First time using this Forum, so If Im incorrect in use, please excuse. I have a short in the circuit that supplies my radio when ignition key is out of the ignition. If I let the car set for a couple of days without starting, it will drain my battery and require a jump to start. I removed the fuse that supplies power to the radio ( lost all programed stations but works ok when engine running) and now no longer have problem with battery drain, just can't program radio..any suggestions about what/where short is?
