Unless it was moved, it is located under the hood, center of engine towards the rear, rear of the intake manifold and mounted in line in the fuel line. If that fails check underneath driver's side towards rear before the fuel tank.

On my 92 it's located underneath the car on the driver's side, right in front of the fuel tank.

Please let us know where you find it. I want to change mine when I change the oil this weekend.

It was in fact in front of the gas tank and it was totally clogged with junk.

Thanks for all replies.

How did you relieve the fuel pressure? Also is there something you need to do to recharge the fuel pressure before the vehicle will run again?

There is a fitting on the fuel rail for attaching a pressure gauge. The fitting has a schrader valve like on a tire, so you can just press it in the center to open the valve and relieve the pressure. Just be careful when you do it because some fuel may spray out.

After I changed my filter I just turned the key and the car started right up. In most cars the fuel pump runs constantly and circulates any unused fuel back to the tank, so just turning on the ignigion for a few seconds should recharge the pressure.

I'm trying a few things to get my 91 regal pass emissions. This car was sitting for a few months. Is there any chance that the fuel / filter can affect the NOx results on an emission test?

No fuel filter won't affect NOX make sure your car warms up before inspection and it doesn't over heat or run to hot it will affect NOX.
