I don't think Blow would qualify as a gangster movie. But if you're going for recommendations, I would recommend Gangsters, maybe not an all time great, but cool to watch

Mafia! is a good one that needs to go up there.

well blows a drug dealing movie, but drug dealers are considered gangsters now. Wouldnt you consider pablo escobar a gangster? Heat isnt really a gangster movie either, but bank robbers are pretty gangster to me :D

Blow is also pretty good but i don't consider it to be a gangster movie.

All great movies Gotti. I'd put The Untouchables on my list.

I didn't really even think Blow was all that great, good, but not great.

crazayjay you should really see Once Upon A Time In America. It was supposed to be Sergio Leone's masterpiece. Some people say its better than the Godfather.

But its VERY long.. almost 4 hours long. Didnt feel like 4 hours watching it tho, and if it was any shorter it would of left out important parts of the plot.

Last Man Standing I personally thought was good, but is it really gangster?

Yeah i forgot about that movie, its pretty good. I would consider that a gangster movie.

I'd say it is definantley one of my favorites, and certainly a gangster movie. Goodfellas probably my favorite. I was thinking suicide kings but it's very loosely based on the mob.

State Property is a good gangster/drug dealer movie.

Yes it is but it's very funny and has a little bit of good action in it...kinda.

King of New York is sick - I will never get over the sound when that Brett Weir twerp from the Jerky Boys movie is hanging onto the car door and gets plowed into a fire hydrant... that was insane!

A Dog Day Afternoon was good too and Mafia was hilarious :rofl:
The Last Man Standing was good but didn't have realism like Scarface and the Godfather series. That one movie Blow is a good gangster movie and i consider it a gangster movie because of the drugs, movie, killing, and deception like Scarface.

Once upon a time in America is a great looong movie movie with DeNiro and James Woods... some people think its better than the Godfather, its supposed to be Sergio Leone's final masterpiece

A Bronx Tale is a must see too... i think it was directed by Robert DeNiro

Wat about Analyze This and Analyze That.....i still think that it is a gangster movie with a little bit of gangster affiliation.

DeNiro crying in the scenes makes me laugh.

^ Those are worth a watch... but they're not great. They dont even deserve to be mentioned with those other movies... the others are all Classics
