Is the LSPV spring rod suppose to be straight or does it have a large bow in it? I recently had a limb hang up between the spare tire and rear differential, after my brakes started acting funny, I noticed the the LSPV rod was bent in a bow as if it was clearing the spare tire. It will clear the tire even if straight but have never paid alot of attention to it till I started having the funny feeling braking problem and remembered the limb being hung under there. The FSM shows it as being straight but can't really say!!

You would have to look at what type of break problems you are having. I not 100 percent positive, but I think the rod is straight for the most part.

Thanks for the reply!! Just have a low pedal and don't have alot of breaking power unless the pedal is pushed pretty hard!!
