Yes!

There is a big difference between the TBI internals and the internals used in the Turbo IV. The crank is forged, the rods are forged, and the pistons are cast but are lower compression than TBI pistons. The only thing that is the same is the block. The TBI crank is cast, the rods are cast, and the pistons are cast but are higher compression. Don't try to interchange those parts.

Well, only the crank and rods are forged. The stock pistons are cast, but there are aftermarket forged options. You can head over to the Turbo Dodge Forums (http://www.turbododge.com/forums) and head to the swap meet section and jump into the for sale section. There are members that sell stock rods and pistons all the time. Also, Turbo II pistons and rods will work in your engine. If you want new pistons and rods or you want to look at the aftermarket forged options for both check out these two vendors:

FWD Performance. (http://www.fwdperformance.com/store/)

Forward Motion Inc. (http://www.forwardmotioninc.com/html/catalog/sections.htm)

I would also suggest looking at the following site called Donovan's Dodge Garage. It is a great resource of information for all the FWD Mopars:

Donovan's Dodge Garage. (http://www.thedodgegarage.com)

If you don't mind my asking, what happened to your stock set?
