Rear wiper on Tahoesnickmcc 03-27-2005, 02:05 PM This problem is minor, but still annoying. My rear wiper does not clean the whole 'path' that it is supposed to, it misses a huge spot in the middle. I have replaced it with two different blades, and have tried using different springs in the arm and tried bending the arm so it made more tension on the window. Has anyone else had and conquered this problem. Thanks for the help. meat eater 03-28-2005, 04:10 PM My rear wiper started doing the same thing about a year ago... until then, it was fine. I also replaced the blade, but that didn't help. Unless the shape of the hatch has changed, I don't know what the problem can be. myhd 03-28-2005, 04:32 PM My rear wiper on my Yukon was doing a horrible job. Turns out that the spring in the wiper arm was weak. If it is not the spring, I am not sure what it could be. sprucegoose 04-02-2005, 12:03 AM None of you guys posted your year Tahoe, so i don't know if they are similar to my 98. This started happening on mine about 3 years ago, and I found that just an occaisional small blast of lubricant (like white lithium grease spray, or silicone lube) to the pivots, and then excercising it back and forth cleared up the problem.
