I believe the first day for here in Utah is like April 22 or something close to that. I don't think I'll go the first time. But who knows. Maybe...although I would like to know what I am running these days. L8...

Maybe this coming weekend, but not for sure. There are two tracks within about 2 and a half hours of me that have started, so maybe we'll go to one of them and race.

I sure got the fever for it! The local track that's like about 35 minutes away is probably going to open in 2 or 3 weeks, so if those rumors are true, then either way, sometime in April will be my first track day.

I really want to go to one of those 1/8th mile tracks and race though! I'll probably know if we're going later in the week though.

Yeah, I think it is the 22nd at Rocky Mountain Raceway. However, I can't seem to find the first track day for auto-x.

Becuase I've never drove on an 1/8th mile track. The only track I've actually drove on only races 330 ft. That's all there is room for with the way the track is laid out. Its close to home however, and it pays $1000 to win.

And either way, an 1/8th mile is all my class usually runs anyways, even at 1/4 mile tracks (and both the tracks we're thinking about going to this weekend are 1/4 tracks). The top bracket class rarely ever runs the full 1/4 mile. Usually, the top two bracket classes only run the 1/8th. Trophy classes are about the only thing that runs the 1/4, and thats typically street cars.
