2000 LE 2.2L Buzzinghairbandmanx 03-25-2005, 11:47 PM When we're stopped at a light our engine (transmission?) makes a buzzing noise. It goes away when you take your foot off the brake. Any ideas? It's been doing this for a while now. 2000 LE 2.2L 82k Automatic Bone stock Perspectives would be greatly appreciated :grinno: hairbandmanx 03-28-2005, 08:04 PM Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Fry? Fry? fabb 03-29-2005, 01:10 AM I can tell you my 94 was doing something like that. It sounded like a buzzing noise in the engine compartment on the rt side. The bolt for the dog bone (engine mount) was loose. It could also be caused by a bad front mount that is allowing the engine to rock putting stress on the dog bone causing it to vibrate. hairbandmanx 03-29-2005, 09:01 PM Ah, that sounds like it makes sense. Is it possible to inspect the mounts in broad daylight or would it involve much more intensive labor? jmrev 03-30-2005, 12:46 PM my 96 did the same thing, after i got a new set of tires and rotating and other stuff it went away, well i was reduced a lot, so i cant really feel it anymore.
