WTB Used car

Looking to buy a cheap used car that we can work on. I would prefer a used GM product in the 1990s that does not need a lot of effort. We live in the Houston Texas area, but are willing to treavel a little bit to load it and haul it back - if it needs minor work. I am looking to spend about $500 or so.
