Overheating...

My car is overheating and when I turn left the SRS and battery lights turn on any my power steering isnt working. I decided to watch the belts and they were turning and hit the trottle and when I do, the belts do not pick up speed, they stay at the same speed, so I figure that the water pump just isnt spinning fast enough. I cant figure out why the belts wont go any faster, I just got them replaced and never had this problem before, anyone got any suggestions? :banghead:

The car is shown below, and its a 1997 Mitsu Eclipse Spyder GST.

Is the car full of fluid? if so, then your water pump bearings may be shot.

EDIT>> Also, is the power steering reservoir full and clean?

Yeah its full of coolant, power steering is ok too. Odd thing I noticed after working on the car for 2 hours, when the amp is working the battery issue is severe, but when the amp isnt working, the battery is ok. Thay may be the issue for that, but the overheating I still cant figure out, it doesnt overheat when the battery issue is present, but when the batttery is working fine it overheats, Im friggin stumped hardcore.
