How To Remove Clip On Coil Pack 2000 Laredo?

Just changed my plugs and it wasn't pleasant with that darned coil pack flopping in the way. For future reference how do you remove that plug on the rear with the red catch? Its on a 4 L 6. :eek7: This is the first time in years I couldn't figure out a plug, its embarrasing.

push the red clip sideways till it clicks then squeeze the black tab and unplug it

I thought that was it but the combination of the location and how far back in there it is located made me want to be sure before reefing on something electronic.

The air filer on our 2000 4.0 is getting shot. Is there any real compelling reason to invest in a K&N. I am only interested in getting more mileage not power. That 4.0 seems to nicely outpull my 350 Silverado strange as it seems.
