Should my brother get a G35?

Well, my brother has a 1999 Ford SVT Lightning-awesome truck. Anways, he is debating a few things right now, he has recently gotten 2 speeding tickets (one was 45mph in a 35, not to bad, but the other was 107 in a 55..ouch) he's already gone ot his first court hearing for the 45 in a 35, turned out to be $90 and rise on his insurance. Now, his second hearing is Monday, he can handle the fine but his license has a chance of being revoked for 3 years. Anyways is his license isn't revoked he's probably going to get rid of that truck (cops just look for stuff like that to pull over) and we went looking at G35 Coupes ('04 Used) and everything is looking good so far, but he's also just pondering wether or not to just keep the lightning and supe it up (he's ALOT more responsible as a driver now, those tickets gave him a reality check) and use it for a weekender and a 'recreational' drag car. Since he has a 1994 Ford F-150 XLT, he dosen't have to worry about using it as a daily driver, so what would you guys recommend?
The G35 is more luxurious than the Lightning, but the Lightning isn't too shabby itself. The G35 will be lots of money, and parts are insanly expensive for them. Same for the Lighting, but not near as bad, couple of free mods you can do to get about....35(?) more horses from it.
Then again, I don't know jack about G35s, but I keep telling him to go for the G35, but he keeps saying he'll have to keep it bone stock for a LONG time, and he hates driving stock vehicles, I bet he would complain if he had a stock Ferrari.
I know there are the obvious reasons to get the G35, but there are equally as many reasons to keep the Lighning. So, what would you guys suggest to a 18 year old, fresh out of highschool?
Thanks.

The question coems down to what do you really want? Lightnings and G35's are a tad bit different to say the least. Both are fast. Dare I say a lightning is as fast if not faster? I'd have to go check the stats. As far as tickets go, this is not a discrete car your brother is looking at. I'm sure the cops will love it too. So what are the upsides? Better MPG, nicer stock creature comforts, some more flash. Then there's insurance which will most likely go up, and with the tickets it's not going to be any easier. If the kids 18 don't fool yourself, he'll slow down for a month or two, but we all have our habits. Basically it's the question of what he wants. If he wants to go from a truck to a car, from automatic to a stick, and he likes the styling, get it. If he can't afford it, isn't sure about this and that, wait. Patience is not only a virtue, but it can help to clear things up sometimes.
