Today I was forced to come to a quick stop which my ABS kicked in, later on while crusin the ABS light came on and won't clear.
Is this safe to drive? and is this easy for a Mechanic to fix?
Thanks for any reply.

Usually this is an indication that your ABS will not be available should the need exist. Consequently, you should still have full braking capabilities; but make sure you don't end up in a situation that could be managed using ABS. As for it being hard for a mech to fix, it depends solely on what has mitigated the problem. It might just be a clean and preen job; (easy); or a full blown repair. (less easy)
I'd seek a couple of estimates before laying out big bucks.
OTOH, this would be a great time to practise driving without ABS. Modulating that brake is becoming a lost art given todays prevalence of ABS in vehicles.
Be cautious and have some fun I'd say.

what i would do is when it is safe to, put yourself in a situation where the abs would work,(like just randomly slamming on your brakes) and see if they do or not....
