DOes anyone know why my brake lights wont work. The problem started with my hazard lights sounding like they were on but were not. Now after taking my tahoe in to the dealsership for a Texas inspection sticker...the brake lights wont work. NOTHING AT ALL. I am thinking it has something to do with a relay system or maybe and hopefully a fuse. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

did you check the fuse?? check the fuse, check the pedal switch, check the miltifunction switch.

thank you for the info...i did check the fuse and replaced it and they seem to work fine. I thought I had checked that before but I guess not. I still have a problem with my hazards sounding as if they are on when they are not. I learned from a couple of mechanics, that pushing the hazard on and off numerous times can clean the contacts. I hope this will help the cause...the repair part for the switch is really expensive...
