Alright I'm not usually one to ask hypathetical questions like this, but I don't want to get beat by a GIRL in a NEON.

Do you think I could take a 98 V-6 Neon with my un-modded 93 Accord LX? Anybody know the HP on a v-6 neon? Mine is the F22 with 125HP. She didn't know that model it was or anything. I think I could take her just out of driving ability, but I don't wanna look like an idiot if that V-6 is gonna hand my a$$ to me. :rolleyes:

I'll still probably race her either way I just want to know what to expect :)

It didnt say this was a v6, but this is the highest HP rating I could find from a 98 neon coupe 2.0L 150 hp I4

I didn't know they made Neon's with V6's... my wife has a '00 Neon. I know that the Stratus has an optional V6, but the Neon, maybe the R/T model, but I'm not sure.

i dont think they made a v6 neon. The neon ACR was the fastest i think. it was the lightest w/ 150hp i think

Nope, they have never put a V6 in the Neon. The biggest was the 2.0L I4. As for the question, I am sure that if you are both stock and both the same calibur of drivers the Neon will win.

Thanks for the replies. I have a 5-speed manual in mine. The Neon is an auto. Both, to my knowledge, are stock. I think I can win with driving skill, which isn't a whole lot :rolleyes: I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't get blown away by a Neon. I'll have to check for myself but I would probably imagine that its not a V-6 I took their word for it

good. you should beat the neon. does the new neons have built in overdrive on there trannies? if they do you can beat her. keep up the good work on shifting. :bandit:
