Does anyone know if local auto parts stores like autozone, advance, or Napa rent out equipment like a bearing press or bearing puller? I need a quality puller that wants damage my pinion/carrier bearings.

Some parts stores do have special tools they rent or lend. Call and ask the stores in your area. That said they may have bearing pullers but probably would not have a press. It is sometimes best to let a pro handle special jobs.
