Reading a few other forums and I came to this...Hodo 03-18-2005, 02:37 PM I noticed no matter what you drive its yours, but is it just me or are there more and more non-drivers behind the wheel of a car or worse a SUV nowadays. Example yesterday on the way home from work, I was driving on the I277 around the city and some prick on a phone dicided he was going to swerve his Expedition over into my lane....... I wouldnt have minded so much if I was driving my old escort, but seeing as I was in my Z32 I was a bit upset by this (putting that lightly). So when I passed him and got beside him and proceeded to give him the bird, he swerved at me again....... Now I am mad, I shoot buy him and do what is commonly called a drop and squat move. I get in front and slam on the brakes, not the britest move considering the size difference but it got the point across. He then attempted to get beside me again, unfortantly SUVs are SLOW!!! So I left him behind and went on about my evening. I am aware that I have road rage issues but I wouldnt have them if others would learn to drive. I pass more people who have been in wrecks becuase they are on the cell phone while driving or doing their makeup or just plain stupid. I do think their should be stricter testing procedures for people and different tests for people who plan on opperating a SUV. Just my take on things take it or leave it. Will2 03-18-2005, 05:24 PM I believe it should be against the law to drive and be on the phone at the same time. I think people over evaluate their reaction time. It's bad enough when your mind is on your driving but when your preoccupied, reaction time has to slow down. It's against the law to be drunk and drive ,I would assume ,because of slower reaction times. I believe being on the phone is just as bad in some cases. Everybody believes they are the greatest driver in the world. But ask the people who have too drive beside or behind them and I believe you'll get a different opinion. and this does mean everybody including myself. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
