Tahoe leather seat questionTripseleven 03-18-2005, 02:30 AM 96 Tahoe 4 door LT. Front seats are leather and very worn / torn. Can anyone offer advice on getting them fixed or replaced. I have found some on the net, but they are expensive. Any help is appreciated! Thanks. Bodyshield 03-19-2005, 11:51 PM its not gonna come cheap. With my previous car, 94 lincoln towncar, i looked into and it cost alot to get it redone. I think it really depends on the type of leather your going to use and if you are going to want any custom work Franko914 04-12-2005, 12:21 AM The cheapest way I can think of is going to a junk yard and retrieving the best condition seats you can find. When you've done that, buy genuine sheepskin seatcovers and wear those out instead of your leather upholstery. Incidentally, cleaned regularly, the sheepskin will last years and years. 96 Tahoe 4 door LT. Front seats are leather and very worn / torn. Can anyone offer advice on getting them fixed or replaced.
